Pako Koogotsitse’s journey with 3G Ministries began in 2016 during his upper primary school days. As a primary school learner he had faced a number of setbacks and could not reach the zenith of his potential. Fortunately, he was privileged to be part of the PPS program when he went for standard seven. The teachings of the man of God served as an inspiration to the young man as he was prompted to study more and commit to his academics, abandoning all distractions that had caused setback in the past. Moreover, he received a prophetic word from the man of God with regards to his bright future and this became his driving force. Based on this, Pako made sure to be on top of his game when it came to his academics. Consequently, he excelled and scooped a grade A for his PSLE. He later proceeded to junior school where he kept the torch burning as he scooped numerous prizes for his outstanding performance across different subject areas.
“The message of the man of God that truly inspired me was, sacrifice your present for the sake of your future,” he added. When he sat for his Junior Certificate examinations he made sure to commit himself to God and to minister the medium of the Living water. Lo and behold! When the results were published, he was left in astonishment as he had attained a grade A of 59 points. As if that was not enough, the Lord made a way for him to take part in a prestigious fellowship beyond his caliber. Over 17000 people had applied, 800 were selected globally and only 2 people at national level and Pako was one of them. At age 16, he made it into the Yale Young Global Scholars Programme, which has only been a farfetched dream for many who are considered more qualified. With this, Pako stands at an advantage as his involvement in the fellowship aligns him well to the colorful future that awaits.
In advising his peers, Pako had this to say, “these are challenging times but easy when in God. Uncommon people go through uncommon challenges so that those in the world can know that indeed God exists.”
