Without a doubt, this past Friday will always be a memento of sort for Mrs Neo Philime; ‘The day that the whip of occultism and idolatry was lifted from her back!’ She was born into an ancestral worshipping home and was groomed to be an ancestral worshipper. Each year they would have a gathering where a goat would be slaughtered for sacrifice and traditional beer would be brewed for the gods. Little did she know that at one point all this would come back to bite her. When such a time came, both dream and reality, were a nightmare for her; she would contend with spirit men, snakes, graves and dead people calling her in dreams and in the natural she had to battle with a broken marriage as well as severe pain in the stomach of which the doctors diagnosed as intestinal sores that were due for operation.
The old woman lived in pain; both physically and emotionally, the father of her kids had left her with no support and on top of that she had to struggle with her health, she could not sit or sleep comfortably due to abdominal pains. Moreover she would drop blood coated stools each time she visited the bathroom and as a result she had to cut down on certain kinds of food, resolving only to take soft porridge. As all this was too much for an old lady her age to bear, she gave in to her situation and accepted that this was a burden she was to carry to the grave.
Seeing her debilitating health state, Mrs Philime called up her son to inform him of her sickness. When he heard what his mother had to say, the first thought that came to his mind was ‘Jesus Christ the God who operates at 3G Ministries.’ He immediately made arrangements for her to visit the church on Friday 7th April 2017. Lo and behold! During the course of the service, Prophet Cedric gave Mrs Philime a Prophetic word that marked the end of her synonymy with the past, the man of God pointed out to her and said, “The old woman was involved in an ancient tradition that involved a jar that would often be filled with traditional beer and since partaking in this practice, she sees a snake in her dreams. Most of the women in her family experience the spiritual husband and should these ladies get married, by virtue of the tradition, their husbands would each keep concubines. Of late, she had a dream where she witnessed her own burial.”
Ms Philime came forth today to confirm the prophecy to be nothing but the truth. From the ancestral worship to the spiritual husband, snakes tormenting her in dreams as well as the dream where she saw herself amid a funeral gathering, unaware that it was her own. Not only that, she also confirmed that marriage for her people was a tall tale, her own husband had left her and many women had gone through the same; their husbands would leave their homes and get concubines.
