Growing up, Palesa Majeremane was a brilliant student; she would perform so well at school and even scooped a grade A for her PSLE. She kept on the same note even when she got to junior school however with time her grades began to deteriorate thus finding herself limited to a maximum of 43 points. All this was a result of mingling with the wrong crowds. Palesa became part of a group of students who paid no attention to their academics at all. They would spend their time bickering at the back benches, totally ignoring what their teachers had to say. As a result of this attitude, they deserted their school work and had a negative attitude towards some subjects especially Mathematics, Setswana, Science and Social Studies. Palesa moved from being an A material student to a D material in the blink of an eye. Even her points had went from 43 points to 26 points.
Fortunately, she got a wakeup call when she joined the PPS initiative in 2016 prior to her JCE exams. She was inspired to change the manner in which she had been handling her academics, after receiving the messages from the man of God during PPS meetings. Consequently she became devoted to her books and did away with all her bad habits. When time for her examinations came Palesa had done her part and believed God to come to her aid. She ministered the Living water by faith and when the results were published she had shocked herself with 49 points which equivalent to a B+. There has also been a notable improvement in all the subjects she was struggling with in the past, all for the glory of God.
