For young Precious, her academic journey seemed bleak; though brilliant from a tender age, it was to her dismay that she found herself not performing to the best of her ability. To her, subjects like Mathematics and Social Studies limited her overall grades to B’s. Her inability to perform beyond the bar frustrated her as the dream had always been to be the best performing student in her school. Precious’ academic limitations were but a gateway to the Gospel of God’s Ministries. Her aunt invited her to the church and by the grace of God she enrolled for the PPS programme. The messages of the man of God such as sacrifice your present for the sake of your future encouraged her to work hard. Acting on the words of the Prophet ushered in a lot of opposition from peers, who did not understand why she had changed her character. However, this did not stop Precious from working harder than before; she married her books and made sure to act in line with the counsel of the Prophet.

The young lady believed God for academic excellence by doing her part and of course, her hope was not put to shame. When the results were published, she was left in awe! From the bar of limitation, she shot straight to an array of A’s all for the glory of God. As if that was not enough, Precious was not only the best in her school, she was among the Top 10 in the country and as well received an Excellence award for PSLE. ‘My peers, choose to suffer now ignore the world and marry your books so that you enjoy tomorrow” encouraged young Precious as she stood before the church to share her testimony on academic breakthrough.
