A complicated pregnancy that was rather more outwardly rejected and questioned, Ms Oratile Segale knew not the doom that awaited her at the delivery room. Surrounded by skeptical medics and hearing the negative reports they had for her newborn baby, they had nothing to say except, “Your baby will not make it past the first month,” Surely, this can rid a mother of all peace and comfort.
With regular scans and medical check-ups, it was revealed that the growing fetus within her was attached to a cystic mass of unknown measure – it malignantly grew without bound, threatening the life of the coming child. Upon the arrival of baby Yamasa, she was riddled with troubles that threatened her entire existence. From the first day going through to her first month, the unknown mass continually grew restricting the growth of all her vital organs, from her liver to her kidneys. Without an idea of what she could do to remedy the health status of her baby, Oratile rushed her beleaguered baby to the Arena of Grace where she had a divine encounter with the Miracle Worker- Jesus Christ.
As she encountered God Almighty through the His able servant Prophet Cedric, the Man of God ministered the month old baby with the Living Water, ushering her to the discovery of the dangerous mass that grew within her baby. Upon prayer, she returned to the hospital to find the shocking news that awaited her – a baby was growing within Yamasa! As a first time occurrence, an article was released that revealed the name of the rare and deadly condition – “Fetus in Fetu” that has occurred only once in 5 000, and if ever occurring none of the affected survive.
Different was the case for Yamasa, who was set apart for Jesus Christ. Instead of the death that awaited her, she was ushered into a new life that was assured in the presence of God Almighty. Standing before the church that awaits the Light of God in today’s Special Service, she attests to the miracle that she has witnessed in Yamasa’s young life and for that, she forever remains grateful to God for His intervention.
