My name is Bame Tshekedi and I would like to testify about the goodness of the Lord in my academics. By the Grace of God in my Primary School Leaving Examinations I was ranked position 5 in the whole country thus qualifying as a PSLE Top Achiever. The same God saw me through in my Junior Certificate Examination where I obtained 61 points consequently ranked position 7 nationwide and secured myself the label of top achiever yet again. That is why I saw it fit to share the fruits of being part of the Prophet Parents Students initiative.
When I was in senior school things took a turn to uncertainty. The country was operating under unchartered territory due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The challenge I was faced with was that I had less time for revision since I had already put a strain to my academics but adding an extra subject to my academic load. The country lockdown came at a time when I had just decided to undertake Statistics as my 11th subject but I trusted in the Lord to help me excel in that subject which initially proved to be a difficulty.In the midst of these unprecedented times I applied what the Man Of God Prophet Cedric always advised students. That is to marry our books and sacrifice our present for the sake of our future. I always made sure to keep good company around me at school; associating myself with people who were focused on their school work. When I sat for my BGCSE I would pray using the Living Sticker and before studying, I would ask God to help me understand and remember what I had read.
Alas! God did again for me in my BGCSE and I obtained 48points with 9A stars, 1A and 1B becoming the second best student in the country! God has also engraved my name in history books as I and the top student are the first ones in the BGCSE history to attain top academic excellence out of 11 syllabuses. I thank the Lord for what He has done for me!
