Mr. Rudolph Boy was unsettled by a sudden stand still he experienced in his career as a Lecturer in one of the local educational institutions. Though a Masters of Science in Linguistics and Management holder, with many publications under his belt Rudolph was never given the credit he was due. Upon applying for a promotion to Senior Lecturer, an unusual lengthy period of time was taken to process his application. The mere sight of his peers advancing to higher levels got him fuming with anger and confusion. “I am more than qualified for this post, I have met all the requisites to take this job but why am I not moving?” he quietly said to himself.
With great consideration and thought, he managed to figure out that the director behind all these setbacks he was facing was the spirit of death and anger that had been lurking in his life since childhood. Laying his head to rest would end up in a long trip to the ‘land’ of the dead, where he would see himself with his late father. Consequently it bore in him a guilty conscience as he burdened himself with the thought that the death of his father was upon his shoulders. To add more fuel to the fire, he also had inexplicable heart palpitations that he would experience whenever he had a fit of rage. His marriage as a result took a hit; a great knock that led to early divorce but through the intervention of Christ, reconciliation took place. Although he perceived all these happenings as normal – it did have him living in difficulty.
Making way to the Gospel of God’s Grace Ministries felt like seeing light at the end of the tunnel; his solution was assured just as the rising of the sun. As he sat on the chair, he felt as though something was fading away from him, leaving him as light as a feather. One of the fateful services, he was privileged to be arranged at the Prayer line where he encountered Christ through His servant and he received a Spirit-filled prayer that finally put a full-stop to the incessant stagnation he faced. To the glory of God, he has been promoted to Senior Lecturer and has an increment of over P 9 000. Moreover, he managed to get himself a house and two massive cars to the glory of God. This indeed serves as evidence that the Spirit of God truly does work in our midst.
