The New living water works wonders in the lives of God’s people and evil spirits dare not resist the tangible and mighty power vested in it. Through this medium, Mrs Khumalo received liberation from the oppression of satan. An evil spirit erupted and confessed to be the “great one” that was destroying her life for many years. It went on to state that Mrs Khumalo was a covenant child and it caused poverty, disappointment, forgetfulness and finally stating that she could have been well off but all roads to success have been blocked. It went on to state that if it were not for her forgiving heart she would be history.
When narrating the story of her life Mrs Khumalo clearly outlines the footprint of the evil spirit that held her captive for many years. She explains that with the help of her mother she was able to establish that before she was born, her mother sought aid from a spiritualist for pains she was experiencing. In desperation for relief, she ingested the charms she was given. The name that I bear, “Ngawa” was bestowed upon me by my aunt said Mrs khumalo.
She goes on to explain that her family has always been under pressure due to poverty. Because most of her people did not go for further studies they failed to secure jobs that sustained them. Having children out of wedlock did not help the situation. She recalls that when she was young and still a student, she experienced forgetfulness that hindered her to proceed to higher levels of learning. Even in her latter years the forgetfulness was an impediment as she failed to meditate on the word of God that she had read in the bible. Lastly, to highlight the issue of forgiveness, she isolated an incident she remembers; due to the misfortune of losing a child, she received a lot of backlash, scrutiny and name calling but regardless of these, she did not habor resentment and bitterness. Now that her freedom is certain in the name of Jesus she celebrates the release of her family from the clutches of the devil! Today she attests to the church that the peace in her heart surpasses all her expectations all to the glory of God.
