On the 6th of November 2016, while he was playing football with his colleagues he accidentally got kicked on the leg by one of the other players. Suddenly, what started off as leisure took a bitter turn. His leg began to swell and pain started to take over his entire leg. Upon experiencing the discomfort of the aching leg, he rushed to the hospital where the doctors confirmed his fear; he had a bad fracture on the tibia bone towards the ankle. In availing solution, the doctors recommended a back slab for two weeks to support the leg and later use a full length cast for four weeks.
As a result of the heavy cast on his leg, he could not walk properly thus he was provided with some crutches to aid and supporting his walking. When the four weeks lapsed, he extended with two more weeks before he could go for his check-up. So, when he went to the hospital he had high expectations that he is healed. When the moment of truth arrived, the doctors removed the cast but to his surprise the pain and swelling persisted.
Having been in the presence of God prior to this incident, he saw the end of the doctors’ capability as the beginning of a miracle in God. Therefore, he continued coming to church believing that one day God would heal him. Indeed, his faith did not disappoint him; during one of the Sunday service Prophet Cedric came across Mr Rampitikwane and the Holy Spirit inspired touch was sufficient to make him spring to his feet, throwing away his crutches! Rushing forward, he even forgot that he could not walk previously- a miracle had instantly occurred as he ran in demonstration of the healing that had just taken place. Adding on, pain and swelling were as well dispelled and he could now freely use his leg.
Advising the congregation in the company of his doting wife, he called the church to enjoy and endure the process of delay in faith because their wait would not be in vain. He said that it does not only apply to those who are delayed in being blessed but that even in sickness, they should wait upon the Lord.
