As a driver in one of the local mines, loading equipment comes with the territory. However, when I encountered an accident just a few months after my appointment, I was forced to re-consider my career choice. Like any other day, we were off-loading the equipment when one of the heavy containers fell and broke my finger. Judging by the pain that pierced across my hand, I knew that something was very wrong. So I decided to go to the hospital and seek medical attention. After running tests and performing X-rays, the doctors confirmed that the tip of my finger was shattered and gave me medication in order to aid my healing.
However, the pain persisted and having to deal with a fractured finger affected my work performance adversely. I was not able to perform my tasks properly and when it came to my personal upkeep, it was worse. Not only could I not bathe myself properly, any attempts to do so would cause excruciating pains. When I remembered that in my Father’s house, healing is like breathing I decided to come to the presence of God. Upon arriving, I was privileged to meet Prophet Cedric where I pleaded and presented my case to him.
Coming to address me, the Man of God gave me a word that translated to instant healing. “Go and use your hands.”, he said. And just like that, healing happened. When I arrived home that evening, I started using my hand without any hiccups and the pain I experienced vanished! Having consulted the doctor upon my accident, I saw it fit to return and hear his medical verdict. After performing yet another X-ray, he came and presented me with evidence of the obvious – the bones that were once shattered were restored for the glory of God! I am now free to go back to work and I can cater to my needs with ease.
As if that was not enough, God blessed me with my own car! After years of being a ‘super-pedestrian’, I am now driving my own car. All this happened after I decided to partner with the church in spreading the gospel far and wide by my finances. In other words, I took care of the Kingdom of God and God took care of me. Similarly, I encourage everyone to avail themselves and their finances to support the gospel to reach multitudes and God will bless them for that.
