“Limitation was the order of my life, stagnancy the constant song in my mouth but God in His infinite mercies has changed the song of my heart and given me joy everlasting” these are the words of an elated and jubilant Ms Tebogo Mogana.
She had enrolled at the University of Botswana in pursuit of a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration and although she did not perform to her best academically level, she managed to complete and graduate. Yet what followed after the graduation was baffling; the degree-holder faced stagnancy and limitation. She would send job applications to various companies on end but none of her efforts bore fruit as she still remained unemployed. She attested that, while pursuing her degree, she had applied for temporary employment in order to equip and make herself eligible for the job market. Contrary to her confidence, her inexperienced colleagues got employed while she remained jobless. Disheartened and hopeless, every day was a burden for her; she had to wake up to the very life she had tried to avoid.
Amidst this challenge, she was invited to the arena of grace, the Gospel of God’s Grace Ministries at the beginning of the year 2014.
“When I got here, I received the first blessing that my soul was in need of – The Word of God.”
From a life of disappointments, the message of hope gave birth to a new creation in Christ. She cast all her burdens unto her Saviour and dedicated her life to Him. The grace of God located her on one fateful day. After sending job applications tirelessly, she was enrolled under the National Internship Programme in one of the prominient organisations in Botswana. To her surprise, it would seem that she was an intern with a difference; one set apart by God. She attest that she was permitted to carry out duties that were normally restricted form interns. She recalled an instance where she was an active partaker in a team that was involved with one of the organization’s documented projects to an extent that she was rewarded with a certificate of recognition under the honour of ‘Committed Team Player’. With this, she was encouraged to perform her tasks diligently to please her employers for the glory of God. She decided to further her studies in order to prepare herself for what she believed God would do for her; an elevation in her career. However, as time went by, she was still not offered a permanent position. As if that was not enough, naysayers would try and discourage her with their negative statements about the organization’s supposed hiring ‘policy’ regarding interns.
During one of the days, Prophet Cedric located her with words of prophecy. When the prophecy landed they penetrated the barricade of limitation and brought stagnation to its knees. After addressing her academics, the man of God crowned the prophecy with the promise of God upon her life.
“God is about to do something for you.”
She attested that when she received the prophecy, she had just enrolled for evening classes to pursue a course that she found challenging. However, after the prophecy, she had an academic breakthrough and was able to complete her course with pleasing marks. Referring to herself as a PPS Diamond, she partook in the grace that has been the driving force behind the God-given initiative that has been responsible for the remarkable academic performances of students since its establishment in the year 2014. It would seem that during her process of delay, she was being prepared and equipped for where she wished to remain permanent; her employment. Not long after her encounter with Jesus Christ through the man of God, she was offered employment on a permanent basis as a Stock Assistant in the same organization. The fruits of the promotion are evident in her finances and she is now earning a handsome salary all for the glory of God.
