Watching with rapt attention how God was working through His anointed servant Prophet Cedric in the PPS meeting, Phatsimo took a heart decision to obey the words of the Prophet knowing that an instruction given in righteousness never fails. Since then her academic life took a turn and headed for a greener light.
From a tender age she was well known for her exceptional academic performance as she got a grade A in her Primary School Leaving Examinations. As a token of appreciation for the outstanding performance her parents decided to give her a laptop. But little did they know that it would be the reason for their daughter’s academic decline.
Upon arrival in junior school her academics took a turn for the worst. From a student who was once obedient, well -performing and well behaved she became a disgraceful young lady and her life became a gloomy tale. Like many youngsters she found herself satisfying her fleshly desires by indulging in multiple love relationships. ‘There was one time I was involved in six relationships at the same time and I had to satisfy all of them. The time that I was supposed to be studying was the time I used in keeping up with all the relationships,’-she said. Moreover she became obsessed with secular music, movies and never gave her academics any attention and this made her to produce poor results.
In 2014, her journey with the Gospel of God’s Grace Ministries began and it was met head-on by the commencement of the PPS (Prophet, Parents, and Students) initiative. She was enrolled in the program and attended all the meetings in which the man of God preached on Faith and character. From the messages she received, Phatsimo purposed it in her heart to reform. All the worldly misconducts she portrayed became a thing of the past and she managed to attain second class; grade (B) in her Junior Certificate Examinations.
She carried on with the same zeal towards her academics in senior school but became disheartened by the fact that even though she worked hard she was only limited to 40 points. However this did not make her lose heart, she continued to study hard, prayed as if everything depended on God, and ministered the Living Water believing God for a miracle. She wrote her BGCSE final examinations and emerged victorious with 45 points which she had never attained in the history of her academic life in Senior School.
