Katlego’s academic journey had always been a smooth sailing; he was obedient hence performed exceptionally well. It all changed when he went on to Junior School where he started to mingle with bad company. His academics soon went right down the drain when he started dating and partaking in all sorts of worldly pleasures, completely abandoning his academics. From the Grade B that he attained for his PSLE, he soon dropped to Cs and Ds.
Fortunately, during his Form 3, a certain teacher made time to address his class concerning their academics and encouraged them to work hard in order to attain a brighter future. These words hit the core of Katlego’s heart and he was prompted to work hard. With this, the young lad managed to attain a Grade B for his JCE. When he proceeded to Senior School, he was then introduced to the Gospel of God’s Grace Ministries by his sister. Katlego was privileged to become part of the PPS and the messages of the Prophet encouraged him to do more, with regards to his academics. “Sacrifice your present for the sake of your future,” this message resonated within Katlego’s heart from the very first day of senior school to the last. He lived by it!
As a result, the young man’s marks escalated; He got 40 points and above for his examinations and was often awarded for excellence. Though some subjects were a challenge along the way, weighing down on his average score, Katlego did not give up; he kept pushing on. Lo and behold! The results of his persistence were exceptional; a whopping 44 points all to the Glory of God.
