“Stagnation and limitation could have been the sad story of my life but Christ the Everlasting King has changed my confession and given me everlasting joy!” elates the victor in Christ, Ms Maipelo Tuelo. After completing her degree in the year 2014, she had a dream to pursue a Master’s Degree in Project Management but for two years she struggled to get accepted. She would send applications but her request was never granted. Upon seeing this, she decided to volunteer in a Non-Governmental Organisation where she was later taken in under government internship in 2015, with an allowance of P1320.00 which was not enough for her to maintain herself.
She toiled tirelessly with hope of being employed on a permanent basis but she was never appointed for the post rather her internship was extended; thus being limited financially. Having already come to God’s presence she knew that her delay was a necessary process to prepare her for her destined position. As a result of her trust in God in her hour of adversity, His grace spoke on her behalf; she was able to get big time opportunities that many only dreamed of; though an intern, she was invited to give a presentation at an international conference where only the elite were invited. She was also given leadership for various projects in the company she worked for. Though she was an intern, she was one with a difference; one backed up by grace!
Even though she did not earn much this never served as a barrier to her passion for Christ; whenever she had the opportunity, she would advance God’s kingdom with her resources. Having done this, the Lord also honoured her; out of the blue her father offered to cover all fees for her Master’s Degree programme! Still unable to comprehend this shock, she was also called for a job interview of which she ministered the Living Water in faith and prayer believing that God would see her through. Indeed, God saw her through, she was able to surpass all her competitors and was given the newly created post of a Health Informatics Officer from her previous Health Programme Assistant post which was on a temporary basis. Her remuneration has also been upgraded from the previous P1320 to an amount over P11 000.
“At the crossover candle light service, the man of God declared that our dreams would be reborn and that our names would be known, the prophecy has come to pass in my life! I’m very happy that my dream has finally realised.”- She added.
In conclusion, Ms. Tuelo advised the church to advance the Kingdom of God and in turn God will advance their lives.
