For five rueful years, Ms. Koketso Masole remained stationery, regarding her professional advancement, which was a violation of the Civil Servants Act which stated that civil servants must be promoted to a higher position after every two years. She had tried everything within her power including sending appeals to her bosses which were aimed at causing her to be promoted but all was in vain. After serving for a long time without any progress, Ms Koketso gave up sending appeals as she was told twice that she could not progress due to the fact that there were no positions ‘suitable for her’.
At the end of her wit, she then made a way to the Gospel of God’s Grace Ministries in 2014 where her hope was rebuilt. She believed that at His time, God would see her through and change her situation. In 2015, with renewed hope Ms. Koketso applied for a job in a different company. With her exceptional qualifications and the intervention of God in her life she was later invited for an interview which she aced very well and was rewarded with the job opportunity in office as a Procurement Supervisor. Whilst enjoying her new job, history repeated itself. She stayed a year in the same post and several applications she had made for a vacant post in her domain where rejected hence leaving her dejected.
“In a perplexed state, I approached the Human Resource Manager to inquire why I was not shortlisted for the post. The response that I got was that I was under qualified” said Ms Koketso. After her failed attempts she retraced her steps and remembered the prophecy she once received from Prophet Cedric- “You have bad luck, whatever you touch does not move forward.” At this, she knew that her case was no hers’ but it had been handed to the Chief Instructor, His name is Jesus Christ. And that all she was witnessing were the last kicks of a dying horse- bad luck! She was ready to face tomorrow.
In 2017, a company she had long applied to during her five years of distress and stagnation, called her and invited her for a job interview. As she prepared for the interview, she prayed and ministered herself with the Living water and by God’s Grace she got the job. The new job came along with bountiful benefits- far greater than what she had ever earned in her life. Her salary is now P 8, 000 more than what she used to receive.
