Growing up as an only child, Mr Goememang would always get his way and this led him to believe that he could do anything he wants at any time. The lifestyle of partying, drinking alcohol, lust and everything else he befriended from a young age obliterating any hint of a better and brighter future. Yet, the worst was what became of his love life; none of his relationships lasted, and it seemed oh so bleak a future for him.
By the grace of God, Mr Goememang was introduced to the Gospel of God’s Grace Ministries in 2012, where he got to realise that the life he had chosen was no good at all. The teachings of the man of God began to resonate deeply within him, causing him to introspect and hence decide to change his character. Mr Goememang gradually divorced worldly behavior and adopted a godly character; maintaining a Holy and upright lifestyle. As a result, alcohol addiction, multiple relationships and lust were tossed to history. He began working on becoming a better Christian and in the process developed the urge to take a suitable helper. He proposed marriage to Mrs Goememang, who he had been in a relationship with for some time and despite the constant hurdles they encountered during their wedding preparations, they summoned the fortitude to carry on and by God’s grace they eventually emerged victorious. The couple celebrated their wedding on the 25th of February 2017 all to the glory of God.
