When you look at your life very well, you will agree with me that most of the time when you succeed you do not give glory back to God, instead you talk much of how you prayed; your efforts. However if you do not return the glory to God, your progress and breakthrough has a limit. As a result of this, you are no longer progressing spiritually; the only experience you can share about God is of your first week you came to the church. This is so because every time God blesses you, you own the glory but the Bible says pride comes before the downfall of a man and God opposes the proud. Life is not neutral, it is either you believe God or satan.
No one can believe God unless they believe His word because God is equivalent to His word. This can be evidenced by the centurion in that book of Matthew 8:5-13. Out of revelation the Centurion believed that by receiving Jesus’ Word he was equally receiving Jesus Himself. This is to tell us that if we are ruled by God’s Word we are equally ruled by Him, if we walk by His word we are walking with Him and if we live by the Word we are equally living by Him. My dear people you cannot be a Christian with your Bible shut. For you to be the one whom is recognized by the Holy Spirit, you need to be dominated and ruled by the Word.
Many people do not believe God by heart but by mind – they employ their mental assent and this is why it is possible for one to say Jesus is Lord today and tomorrow confess otherwise. This cannot be possible if the heart believed because it changes not. If your heart has not believed God you have not believed yet. Many convince themselves to believe God, they don’t allow the Holy Spirit to lead them. However if you are convinced and persuaded into Christianity you can still be persuaded out of Christianity. This can only be possible if you did not employ your heart in believing God.
Matthew 15:7-9 says, ‘You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ Today many profess Jesus but do not see Him. They say be healed, blessed and be saved but do not see the healing, blessing and salvation they profess. This is so, because they do not draw near Him with their hearts but lips. Remember if you have not believed God with your heart then you have not believed yet, therefore LET YOUR HEART BELIEVE!
