Growing up Bonolo was well known for her excellent performance as her report was always decorated with only AS’s and B’s. This was the story of her life throughout her primary school days but things took a turn for the worst when she ventured on to Junior school. Whilst in Junior school she associated herself with bad company, and because bad company corrupts good morals sooner than later her character became nothing to write home about.
She was engaged in dating and ultimately established social media accounts, as a result her attention was diverted from her academics resulting in a deterioration in her performance. From the brilliant young girl she used to be, she was now labeled as a dull girl. She was now fond of getting C’s, D’s and sometimes E’s from the A’s and B’s she used to get. By the grace of God she completed her form 3 with grade B and graduated to form 5 which she attended at a boarding school. Due to her newly found freedom she felt that this was a chance for her to entertain misconduct which lead her to getting 35 points in her form 5.
Her aunt who was by then fellowshipping in 3G Ministries saw the unpleasant life her niece had to undergo and she invited her to the church. In her journey in the church Bonolo’s academic dream was reborn and she decided to rewrite her form 5 again. This time around she enrolled in the PPS initiative where she received profound teachings from Prophet Cedric. In one of the messages she attended Bonolo attests that the man of God told them that there is no victory without sacrificial pain. She took this to heart, lived in obedience to it by marrying her books and divorcing all worldly pleasures as she knew that obedience was the key to her success. In a few months she sat for her form 5 examination and this time around God was involved in her life. When the results came out she had astonished herself, from the 35 points she had moved to 41 points! From the ‘DD’ in her science double award she moved to an ‘AA’ and from an ‘E’ in Commerce she moved to a ‘C.’ Surely those who put their trust in God will never be shamed and Bonolo’s testimony can attest to this!
