On the second Sunday of February 2018, Prophet Cedric met with his disciples by the special grace of God. As he began to preach and minister prayer under the influence of the Holy Spirit, he came across Mr. Obenne Gaseitsiwe and said, “There is idol worshipping where you are coming from and that has ultimately led to you having the spirit of death.” With that, he went on to pray and delivered him from the evil spirits that had been tormenting him in the name of Jesus Christ. Two days later, he was privileged to meet the Prophet yet again and this time, the Spirit of God went for the jugular vein of Satan’s reign in his life. “There is a certain cult that you used to go to – they wanted you to be a ‘pastor’ there.”
Being in the presence of God had clearly defined the difference between a living church and a place that seems like a church, though not. So in his confirmation, he revealed the name of the cult and explained that it all began years ago when he was a young man. According to him, this turmoil started when his mother took him to a certain cult in an effort, though in vain, of diverting his attention from idol worship. That place later became his place of worship, lacking the knowledge that the place was devoid of the presence of the holy spirit. As time went by, he was promoted in rank. So when he was counselled to submit his name to be officiated as one of the ‘pastors’, it did not come as a surprise. However, the problems that ensued soon after that surely came as a surprise. From being discharged from work to being fired, it was evident that he was swimming in dark waters but the veil of ignorance kept him from the Truth. Having been stripped to the barest and most fierce of inquests, he consulted his fellow ‘priests’ and even made a pilgrimage to the cult’s headquarters – but things went from bad to worse.
Regarding the idol worshipping and spirit of death, he explained that his father was a traditional healer who had ordained him to take up after him. But God being so merciful, he found himself in a tornado of perplexity prior to the initiation that led to him missing the ceremony. On the other hand, there has been a series of funerals of his beloved including his two-day-old twins. According to him, even his dreams attested to the presence of the tormenting spirit of death as he often dreamt of being involved in fatal car accidents and he always had a foreboding sense of death. Just a day after his deliverance, a student permit that had been delaying for a long time was released! Now that he is liberated from the cultic ties, he has now enrolled and registered to pursue his studies under the Masters program in the Republic of South Africa all to the glory of God! Every tear of sorrow has been transformed to shout of praises to the Lord Almighty!
