“Only God can do this, His grace has maintained me from the onset. If not for His grace, the world would have engulfed me; my academics would have been history. But I thank God for PPS, thank God He came to my rescue.” These are the words of Ms Mofenyi Semetsa who glorified God through the words of her testimony.
Mofenyi a bonafide PPS student who has continuously done well in her academics and has always shared her academic journey with the church, is back with the fruits of her hard work. As a student who has been with the Programme for 3 years now and overtime shown tremendous progress in her studies, she is back with a resounding victory.
Her greatest limitation was not surpassing the 55 point level in all her examinations. Her marks were remarkable and oftentimes outstanding as compared to the rest of her school mates. Though faced with such milestones, her desire was to break through her academic horizon. She continued to apply herself in faith and God being ever faithful, she finally managed to exceed the chasm that had kept her at 55 points and she now scored an astounding 61 points comprising of 6As and 3Bs.
In conclusion she said, “People of God, as the Prophet says: the world is an enemy to academics and we need God by our side to win this world. Let us find God and live our lives in Him that is let us be people with character because our God is a God with character.”
