The 3G Ministries Sunday Service of February 12, 2017 witnessed Prophet Cedric taking to the altar to deliver God’s special package for the day. Using the testaments as a dais for his counsel, he started off with a unique greeting; “I greet you with a change of life because there is nothing that pleases me more than seeing lives changed. Testimonies show the existence of God.” The man of God went on to remonstrate on the common belief among Christians that it is only when one narrates their story to a ser
vant of God that it shall be settled; “Many believe that their problem will only be solved if they tell it to a servant of God but this is not entirely true. God is aware that you have answered his call by coming into His presence and as such prepares His servant to meet you. As a result, when a genuine servant of God; one who is energized by God’s power, touches your head, Jesus touches your spirit”
“Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Bishop, Archbishop or Evangelist, all these are titles that anyone can bear but the power to change lives cannot be found in the market place, it is from above, straight from Heaven,” the Prophet said in furtherance. Using biblical reference, he went on to highlight that those who God has called, He gives the power to change lives. “We knew that Elijah was a Prophet of God because of his works; when he prayed fire fell down and this is something which only God can do. In Luke 7:11-17 Jesus did not have to tell the people that He is the son of God. When they saw a life changing; a man who was dead being raised to life they were all filled with awe and praised God, saying ‘a great Prophet has appeared among us.’ In the same manner Servants of God cannot talk for themselves because He who sent them is powerful, strong and smart enough to speak on their behalf through works.”
Closing the message, the Prophet left the congregation with this word, “Even when John sent his disciples to ask Jesus if He was Messiah, he answered them not a word but by His works; healing the sick, delivering the oppressed and proclaiming the good news to the poor. This is the manner in which true servants of God, the authentic, those who are true-blue answer; they speak not by their words but by their works. It is only through works that you can distinguish between those called by God and those who are self-called.”
