A few years ago, Amogelang Kedikilwe was counted among the nation’s best ten students! After obtaining straight A’s in her PSLE, the future seemed bright. Except, when she transitioned to Senior School, she decided to join one of the popular social media platforms just before she sat for her Junior Certificate examinations. Inevitably, her academic performance started deteriorating which affected her final examination.
Moving forward, she went and delved deeper into the social media world. From a straight A student, her marks started comprising of an F in statistics, C in English and Chemistry. Although she was performing badly, she would still wind up being one of the top ten students in the school, which made her reluctant to improve. As grace had it, she was privileged to attend her first PPS meeting where the man of God encouraged the students to choose to sacrificed and suffer now and enjoy their future than to enjoy now and suffer in the future.
After hearing the message, she decided to implement the message. During the academic award season, she was awarded for being the Best Student in Statistics, Setswana, History! Moreover, she was one of the top ten students in her school. A few months down the timeline, she sat for BGSCE Examination and by the grace of God, she obtained 46 points out of a 48 point grading system which comprised of 4 A’s and 4B’s. Glory be to Jesus Christ!
