Mr Dzawo heard the cry of his siblings all the way from Zimbabwe regarding the wayward behavior of his nephew and with this, he did not tire to be of assistance. Making way to Zimbabwe, he introduces the troubled family to the God of Prophet Cedric through the medium of the Living testimony booklets. Going through the Living facets they were convinced that solution was possible for their son Takunda and gave Mr Dzawo leeway to bring him to the Gospel of God’s Grace Ministries.
With such faith, they made their way to the presence of God seeking for solution regarding the grip of darkness that had a hold over Takunda’s life. The issue they presented before God was of alcohol and drug abuse which he indulged from a young age; doing standard 7. Takunda explains that these unruly practices started as a result of peer pressure, where they would bunk school and contribute money to buy alcohol and marijuana to smoke. This ended as an addiction and to maintain such, he resorted to stealing. In furtherance, he gives detail that in one instance he stole a neighbor’s belongings in which he had to confess to because they had threatened to curse the thief. The bad habit took a wrong turn when he was expelled from school after missing most days off while indulging in the toxic substances.
Mr Dzawo steps in to add that Takunda’s character changed as he noticed that he isolated himself from the family. Concerned of the behavior, Mr Dzawo took time to counsel his nephew only for him to reveal that he is troubled by nightmares; people calling him at night. In confirmation of this, he states that they have witnessed him sleep walking something that added to his troubles.
As they testify, all of the above is in the past; Takunda first encountered the hand of God as he was prayed by the man of God in one of the services and a change was noticed. “The first change we saw was his behavior when he was around us, he engaged more in conversation and the very first time to see him smile ever since we came from Zimbabwe.” said Mr Dzawo as a testament that a change for the good was taking root.
Takunda’s deliverance came to complete perfection after the ministration of the Living Water as an instruction of righteousness from the servant of God – Prophet Cedric. The darkness that had been hovering over his life was exposed as it confessed to all the wicked deeds it was responsible for in Takunda’s life. Light is finally introduced in his life and as the final word we hear from Takunda is that of freedom. The urge of drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana, stealing is no more and the sleep walking at night is a thing of the past all for the glory of God.
