For Mrs Kedisang not experiencing her monthlies was a discomfort, but it became a grave problem when she got married in May 2013. She attested to the church that dating back to sixteen years ago, she did not receive her menses. When the time came for her menstrual cycle, she would experience cramps and that would be all.
For years, their marriage seemed to have a void that could only be filled by a tiny bundle of joy. She and her husband tried everything within their power to conceive all to no avail. They went to various ‘inyangas’ but it seemed as if the cry of a child would never be heard in their home. As expected, this situation gave birth to anger and resentment, creating a platform for constant quarrels and conflicts. As a result, there was no affection between them. Unable to stand his dysfunctional marital bed, Mr. Kedisang resorted to masturbation which only worsened the case between them.
Through this, the Kedisangs’ had to suffer the social stigma of being in a childless marriage; their people would constantly ask when they would have a child and they did not have any answers to give. Mrs Kedisang often blamed herself for the state of her marriage and even thought of throwing in the towel in order to free her husband of this heavy yoke. In her distress a friend was sent to her rescue, she told her about 3G Ministries and how God was changing lives and turning situations around in the church. It then dawned on Mrs. Kedisang that their problem was beyond human comprehension; her desire for divine intervention was born.
The couple made their way to the Gospel of God’s Grace Ministries; the preaching and testimonies were enough to keep them hooked to God’s presence. They continued coming to the church and ministering the Living Water, their hearts filled with expectation for dew to their barren state. After two full years of barrenness, Mrs Kedisang was confirmed pregnant and gave birth to her miracle; baby Letsile. The arrival of this bundle of joy brought peace, love and affection in the Kedisang household; there are no squabbles at all in the home. The elated couple gave thanks to God and confirmed that Mrs. Kedisang’s menstrual cycle has been restored and the problem of masturbation that had gained grip on her husband is no more. Furthermore, the couple were able to acquire a ploughing field and a car; something which had been impossible in the past.
