Atang Keolopile has always been a brilliant student to a point where she felt succeeding academically was her thing; she did not need to read or even pay attention to lessons from her teachers. At the most crucial point of her primary level; standard seven she started diverging her attention to friends and television. To make matters worse she developed an attitude towards subjects such as Social Studies and Setswana and her performance began to drop from A to B. This left the young girl in sheer disappointment.
Having fellowshipped in 3G Ministries for quite some time, she knew exactly what God has been doing to the academic state and character of young people through Prophet Parents Students (PPS) initiative and she strongly believed that He would impact her life in the same way. She enrolled for PPS in 2016 where she met the message of the man of God head on. “Divert your attention from where it has been to your academics”. “That is why after I heard his counsel, I decided to divert my attention from friends and television to my academics. Thereafter God showed me what I am capable of; I astonished myself in the Mock Examinations,’’- she recalled. According to Atang, she managed to get straight A’s. This gave her courage to keep on working hard.
As Atang sat for her Primary School Leaving Examinations, she prayed- “Lord, remind me of what I was taught in school and in PPS”. She then ministered the Living Water on herself and her stationery. She believed God to help her maintain her performance and do even better. What she had sincerely prayed for, God did it for her, and she scored straight A’s all for the glory of God.
