During the 3G Ministries Sunday Service dated 25th of August 2019, Malebogo received words of prophecy from Prophet Cedric, “There’s a problem in your family, there is an event that happened in the past, it was as if people were praying, dancing and beating drums. They left a snake there and you people keep dreaming of it.” Confirming the prophetic word Malebogo highlighted that indeed she hails from a background of ancestral worship. Tracing back in time to the event that the man of God spoke about, she noted that one of her relatives had patronized a spiritualist who informed her that the spirit of an old woman in their family was constantly lamenting hence the need to perform a ritual so as to appease it. Following this, the family conducted an occultic event; adorned in black, they prayed and danced to the beat of a drum in honor of the ancestral spirit. In continuance a hut was built at the place where the old woman used to reside and in it they stored traditional beer and food to be eaten after the ceremony.
The aftermath of this ceremony was nothing short of disarray in the family. Malebogo’s people have nothing to pen down; her brother is an alcohol addict who squanders all his earnings on satisfying the addiction, her sisters on the other hand are qualified professionals but cannot find employment- all as a result of the tradition of her family. More often than not her people would have encounters with snakes, just as the man of God prophesied. They would not only see them in dreams but also in the physical. On three counts a snake was spotted in the shelter at their farm. Surely, the prophecy was spot on and has consequently separated them from ancestral spirits, all to God’s glory.
