As a Christian, you cannot follow or serve God with your Bible shut because your life depends on knowing the word of God. Today, many have set God’s word aside and are running after what He offers; they are running after the blessing and not the Blesser. That is why during the time of trouble they compromise their faith and look for solution from different places and set aside God’s word. Whatever that you are looking for is found in the Bible, therefore do not keep it shut because if you neglect God’s word then you equally neglect healing, deliverance and all of God’s blessings. In the same vein, if you shut your Bible, you shut the spring from which they are drawn because through Christ, all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made” [John 1:3].
